Exchange 2007 "with specific words in the sender's address" not firing
Hi,I created a rule years ago while my mailbox was on Exchange 2003 SP2. The rule simply looked for "with specific words in the sender's address", specifically the string "Antigen_" and then moved the message to a folder I have named Antigen. Antigen for Exchange 2003 generates alert messages to administrators with a From field of "Antigen_<servername>" ... there is no specific SMTP address in this field. So this rule took care of messages from any one of our Exchange servers. Messages from Antigen_SERVER1, Antigen_SERVER2, Antigen_SERVER3, etc were all moved to my Antigen folder by this rule. When my mailbox was moved to Exchange 2007 (SP1 RU9) this rule would no longer fire. I recreated the rule and it still does not work. I tried several variations including searching for the complete string in the From field (e.g. Antigen_SERVER1) without success. It appears that "with specific words in the sender's address" does not actually function correctly onExchange2007.?Sam

Hi, I recommend you to check rule tables from MFCmapi.exe to see if any rule has been enabled on this mailbox. Please try to delete all the rules there and then create a new rule. Also you can locate rule table to check the rules. How to delete corrupted and hidden rules from a single mailbox in Outlook 2003 http://support.microsoft.com/kb/924297 Regards, Xiu
